前兩天在我家附近的亞洲小吃店點了水餃,不難吃但餡很少吃不過癮。
自己包水餃,多包一些可以放冷凍庫,想吃就煮。
We had dumplings in my local Asian diner a few days ago.
It tasted OK, but the filling was too little.
I didn't feel satisfied
If I make dumplings by myself, I always make a lot and put them inside the freezer for future use.
先準備餡料,有雞腿肉、大白菜、薑、香菇跟豆腐。
所有材料加調味拌勻後,放冰箱被用。
做水餃皮很簡單,只要麵粉、水跟一點點鹽。
揉成麵糰後用我的小紅義大利麵機擀平,切圓形再沾上一堆手粉防沾。
以前沒買小紅時把麵皮擀平很費時又費力,現在簡單又快多了。
雖說中國城有賣現成的水餃皮,但都有加一些化學物質使保存期限加長。
有時間自己做,吃起來比較安心。
First, I prepared the filling, it had chicken tights, Chinese cabbage, ginger, mushroom and tofu.
I mixed and seasoned all the ingredients, and then put it in the fridge.
It is easy to make the dumpling skin, it only needs flour, water and a pinch of salt.
I used my red pasta machine to flatten the dough, and cut into circles.
I dusted the dumpling with flour to proven them from sticking together.
Before I got my red pasta machine, it took me a lot of time and energy to make the dough.
But it is very easy and fast now.
Although I could get the dumpling dough from China Town, but they always contain some chemical ingredients to extend the expiry date.
If I have time to make it myself, I will feel much better.
白白胖胖的水餃完成了。
