Today was one of my best friend's birthday.
I made her favorite cake - German poppy seed cake.

這個蛋糕分三層，製作時間大概兩小時左右。
第一層是麵包底，成份有麵粉、糖、酵母粉、牛奶、奶油、鹽跟蛋。
將第一層麵包麵糰放溫暖處，發酵一小時。
第二層是罌栗籽內餡，成分中有Wheatlets我買不到，我用粗粒小麥粉代替。
第三層是奶酥，我減了一半的糖。
This German poppy seed cake has 3 layers.
It took about 2 hours to make.
The first layer is similar to bread.
The ingredients are flour, sugar, yeast, milk, butter, salt and eggs.
I put the dough in a warm place for one hour to let it rise.
The second layer is the poppy seed filling.
It is supposed to contain wheatlets, but I couldn't find it in the supermarket.
I used semolina instead.
The third layer is sweet butter crumble, for which I only used half the amount of sugar.
晚上去好友的生日晚餐，去的是之前來吃過午餐的俄羅斯餐廳Mari Vanna。
For Svetlana's birthday dinner we went to the Russian restaurant Mari Vanna, where we had had lunch once before.
他家的廁所真得很特色，裡面還有播放俄羅斯兒童故事。
Again, I have to say that their toilet was very special for me.
They play Russian children stories inside.
朋友點了一堆傳統的俄羅斯前菜，但因為忙著跟新朋友聊天忘了照像。
主菜老公點Golubtzi(高麗菜捲)，跟我們亞洲的高麗菜捲很像很好吃。
我點Chilean sea bass grilled(智利圓鱈)，也不錯吃。
這是老公第一次來，他超愛這裡的食物，說跟他奧地利某郊區的食物很像。
俄羅斯的食物對我而言是一種新體驗，我還不是很習慣，但我很開心跟朋友聚在一起。
Svetlana ordered a lot of traditional Russian starters.
I forgot to take more pictures, because I was busy chatting with new friends.
Tino ordered Golubtzi for his main course, which is meat loaf wrapped in cabbage.
In Asia, we have something similar.
It tasted delicious.
I ordered Chilean sea bass grilled, it was tasty too.
This was Tino's first time at Mari Vanna.
He loved it, and he thinks the food is very close to some rustic Austrian dishes.
Russian food was something new for me.
I am still getting use to it, but I enjoy spending time with friends.
