這奧地利凱薩麵包是我們每次回維也納必吃的,有時還會帶一大包回倫敦。

本來以為做法會很複雜,但看了大麥町太太的部落格,做法意外的簡單。

Every time we go back to Vienna, we always eat a lot of Kaisersemmel.

Sometimes we bring a big pack of Kaisersemmel back to London.

I thought it is difficult to make Kaisersemmel.

But from the recipe on Mrs. Dalmatian's blog I found out it is actually quite easy.

用婆婆從維也納帶給我的新鮮酵母。

我其實已經做了好幾次了。

上次婆婆來玩時看我做這奧地利凱薩麵包,她超興奮的,叫我翻譯食譜給她回去做。

現在老公每個周末都叫我做這麵包。


I used fresh yeast which my mother in law brought me from Vienna.

I have made Kaisersemmel many times already.

Last time my mother in law visited us, she watched me making Kaisersemmel.

She got very excited and asked me to give her the recipe.

Tino asks me to bake Kaisersemmel every weekend.

最近小忙,只有周末才有空寫部落格。

這是前陣子萬聖節買的ㄧ堆南瓜,做了南瓜杯子蛋糕、烤南瓜跟南瓜湯。

南瓜杯子蛋糕其實是用紅蘿蔔蛋糕的食譜。

烤南瓜,我把三種南瓜切丁加橄欖油、鹽、胡椒跟綜合香料,送進烤箱。

在烤箱的最後十分鐘,灑上Feta起士跟葵花子。

南瓜湯,洋蔥、南瓜炒香,加入高湯把所有材料煮熟。

等湯涼後,用食物處理機打成濃湯。

要吃時再加熱,灑些荷蘭芹跟淋上鮮奶油就完成了。


Recently, I have been a bit busy.

So I can only update my blog on weekends.

Those were pumpkins I bought during Halloween.

I made pumpkin cupcakes, roast pumpkin and pumpkin soup.

I used a classic carrot cake recipe for the pumpkin cupcakes.

For the roast pumpkin, I chopped 3 types of pumpkin into small cubes.

I added olive oil, salt, pepper and mixed spices and put it into the oven.

I put some Feta cheese on the top and sprinkled some sunflower seeds in the last 10 minutes.

For the pumpkin soup, I fried chopped onions and pumpkins first.

Then I added some stock and water to cook the pumpkin though.

After the soup turned cold, I blended it.

I heated up the soup, sprinkled some parsley and poured some cream, and it was done.
